Many people have asked us how they can support us. There are two main ways: 1.) PRAYER! and 2.) finances.

PRAYER: I will be listing praise and prayer requests at the end of most blog posts. Please come along side us and pray us through our times both in the States and in Kenya. You can sign up to get e-mail alerts by becoming a follower of the blog. Once we’re there, we plan to send out newsletters via e-mail, so e-mail us at kelleysinkenya@gmail.com to be added to the newsletter mailing list.

Finances: While we live in Kenya, we will receive a salary through World Gospel Mission. However, that does not mean that this organization is independently wealthy and is just throwing money our way. Instead, we are asked to raise a support team. This team prays for us, keeps in contact with us, and gives money to our ministry on a regular basis. By supporting us financially, you’ll be helping us serve God as  full-time missionaries AND ensuring that we have good healthcare, a retirement plan, money to support local ministries, provide a good education to our kids, etc. Plus, living in a third world country is more expensive than people think. Sure, most Kenyans that we’ll serve are able to live on $3/day, but we first-world people can not! The things we take for granted are much more costly in the third world than they are here. I guess it’s a perfect example of supply and demand….Please consider becoming a monthly supporter or giving a generous one-time gift. Below is the support information.

  1. I don’t even know what to say. I will remember your remarkable faith and love of Jesus as I struggle through my own diagnosis of multiple myeloma. I am 61, though, and have more than my share of happiness on this earth. I am ready to go when He calls me. I shall hug and kiss little Hannah for you. Much love and prayers to you.

  2. Hello Stephanie, my name is Katie and I worked with Aaron at LVH. I just wanted to send you my deepest condolences on the loss of your princess. From a mother to a mother, my heart breaks for you. My family and I have have been offering you and yours up in our daily prayer. May the Lord, continue to comfort you. Praise be the name of the Lord.

  3. Hi! I found your blog through twists & turns on Facebook & blogs. I have been so blessed reading about your journey, for 2 reasons…I spent a month in Kenya about 10 years ago (about an hour from Nairobi,) and I love anything Kenya! :). Our family has also experienced the loss of a precious child…I was 25 weeks gestation & gave birth to our son, who lived for 38 minutes. Our journey of grief has led us on an amazing spiritual journey, drawing us closer to our Daddy & allowing us to see the work of the Holy Spirit in new & wonderful ways! Thank you for your honesty in your grief and also in how God is working in your life! Blessings!!

  4. Hello! I found your blog by chance (or rather, by providence) and I’m so glad I did! Your story has touched my heart for a number of reasons. My husband and I are hoping to move to Lesotho as missionaries in a couple of years. I was trying to search and plan and use all the wisdom I could to find out what’s the best time or the best way to make that move with young children. I searched “moving to Africa with a baby” and that’s what lead me to your blog. Reading your story has reminded me that I must trust God with everything. Thank you for sharing your story. Your family will be in my prayers as you serve God and as you mourn Hannah’s loss. Blessings and peace to you! I look forward to hearing more of this journey that God is taking you on!
